Warranty & Returns

Refund, Returns, Deposits, Shipping and Cancellation Policies:

Orders that are not custom made or sized are returnable for a full refund. Returns are only accepted within 10 business days in its original condition and packaging. A refund will be applied to the method of payment used to make your purchase. Alexandra Brooke Designs (ABD) is not responsible for postage on returned items and has the right to refuse a return that has been worn or damaged.

Custom orders can be remade within 3 days of getting the item as long as it is unworn and undamaged. The consumer will be responsible to pay the difference of any item remake. Alexandra Brooke Designs has the right to refuse a remake for any reason. 

Purchases that are custom designed, sized or altered in any way from its original state are nonrefundable and nonreturnable. If for some reason you are unhappy with your custom purchase, we will do everything possible to rectify the situation. However, the original purchase is nonrefundable and any new changes to the design will have additional charges. 

Merchandise that is not custom designed, our “everyday wear”, is guaranteed from breakage for six months after purchase. The jeweler will inspect the merchandise for necessary repair. Repairs will be made to merchandise free of charge provided it is within six months of purchase date and is the fault of ABD. ABD is not responsible for cracked gemstones or diamonds. Repairs needed after the allowed time frame can be made at an estimated charge.

*Our warranty excludes coverage for daily wear and tear, items exposed to abuse or adverse environments, loss of stones or theft. Please treat all materials with proper care. Any repairs serviced by anyone other than Alexandra Brooke Designs will void this warranty.

For example, if a wedding band with several small diamonds in it is purchased and after never cleaning it or taking it off when sitting in a hot tub, a stone falls out, the replacement of this stone is the responsibility of the purchaser. Build up from lotions and dirt will form underneath the stones causing upward pressure and ultimate stone loss. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to regularly clean the ring to ensure this doesn't happen. A jewelry care system is very inexpensive. Water, a gentle cleaner like Dawn dish soap and a toothbrush can also be used.

It is the responsibility of the consumer to properly care for and insure purchases with diamonds and gemstones. Jewelry Insurance can be purchased from Jeweler's Mutual and facilitated by ABD. Your purchase can also be insured through your homeowners insurance policy. If a large diamond or gemstone at any time is found to be loose, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to stop wearing the piece of jewelry and immediately contact Alexandra Brooke Designs. We are not responsible for any cracked gemstones or diamonds, so it is imperative for the jewelry to be insured, cared for and inspected by the purchaser. 

It is the responsibility of the consumer to regularly clean, care for and have the purchase inspected regularly. 

Shipping: All major purchases are shipped overnight or 2nd day insured through UPS Parcel Pro with signature required. ABD insures the shipment until it is signed by the recipient, in which case it becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.

All other purchases are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

Deposits and Payments: 

Payment in full is expected for ALL purchases. Work will not begin on any jewelry purchases until payment in full is made.

Deposits are required for all custom design projects. The amount of the deposit is determined by Alexandra Brooke Designs. The deposit confirms and books the project. Full payment is required when the custom design is approved by the customer and before ordering of the final approved custom design begins. 

If the project is canceled by the customer or ABD, the deposit will be refundable minus $60 per hour for all time spent on the project. If the project is not cancelled, the entire deposit goes toward the final payment.
